Kimberly’s Cottage is Marion County’s compassionate response to the trauma of child abuse. In 2010, Kimberly’s Cottage served more than 1200 children who were victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse, neglect and/or exposure to substance misuse or domestic violence. Kimberly’s Cottage helps these children by providing specialized services, including: forensic interviews, specialized interviews, medical examinations, advocacy, crisis intervention counseling and group counseling.
